The all-new iPhone line-up has been officially unveiled and has once again pushed the limits of innovations. This year, Apple has unveiled two different models named the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The iPhone 6 will have a 4.7 inch while the 6 Plus will have a 5.5 inch screen. Both will sport the new powerful A8 processor (with the M8 sensor chip), have full functionality with iOS 8 apps such as the all new Apple Pay via NFC, and all new Camera. The iPhones will also sport a new barometer (to be paired with iOS 8's capabilities such as the Health App) and advanced wireless capabilities.
The iPhones will have a camera with 8 MegaPixels and now, for the first time, Focus Pixels (previously only found in professional DSLR cameras). The Focus Pixels will not only upgrade the clarity of the camera's images, but also the stability and the camera's ability to focus properly. The iPhone 6 Plus will sport a Optical Image Stabilization sensor, allowing for even more precise stabilizing than before with the camera. (The sensor will be able to move up, down, and side-to-side to allow for more accurate photos). The video camera will also see improvements, bringing slow-mo videos to a whopping 240 frames per second.
The iPhone 6 will start at $199 and the iPhone 6 Plus at $299 and come in the familiar gold, space grey, and silver colors. A big change to the line-up is going to be the storage capacity, with the middle model jumping to 64 GB and the high-end model to have a whopping 128 GB capacity. The complete line-up will be as follows with 2-year contracts: the iPhone 5C (8GB) for free, the iPhone 5S (16GB) at $99, the iPhone 6 starting at $199, and finally the iPhone 6 Plus starting at $299. The iPhone will hit stores September 19th, with pre-orders starting September 12th.
